Ever since it was announced over a month ago, the Toronto Raptors intra-squad game at Victoria’s CARSA gym had been one of the most in-demand sporting events the capital region has seen all year.
Tickets for Thursday night’s game sold out in less than twenty minutes, and an additional 200 standing-room-only tickets were released and accounted for before tip-off. An estimated 2,700 people filled the CARSA gym to watch the Toronto Raptors for the first time in Victoria’s history.
