A strong low pressure system is moving toward Vancouver Island and BC’s south coast, bringing rain and wind.
The system will reach northern Vancouver Island late Sunday evening, bringing from 10 to 15 millimeters of rain, and southeast winds to 30 km/h except 60 over exposed coastal sections.
The system will continue southward, reaching Victoria and the southern tip of Vancouver Island by noon Monday.
But the rain will move through quickly.
Look for sunshine to return Wednesday across Vancouver Island.
