Public warned not to approach wanted man: West Shore RCMP

West Shore RCMP is searching for wanted man Jarod Mizak.

Police on the West Shore are seeking help from the public to locate a man wanted for various offences committed across Vancouver Island.

West Shore RCMP says unendorsed warrants have been issued for Jarod Mizak, 33, who is wanted for around 10 offences, including mischief, breach of release order, failure to comply, forcible confinement, aggravated assault, uttering threats, obstructing a police officer, driving while prohibited, and fail to appear.

According to the RCMP, Mizak is Caucasian, stands at 6’0″ and weighs around 225 lbs. He has blue eyes, a bald head and reddish-brown facial hair.

“Do not approach the suspect as (he) is dangerous,” warned RCMP in the release Monday.

Police are asking anyone who sees Mizak to call their local police department or West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264.

People can also report information anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
