There will be a public hearing into sexual misconduct allegations against an off-duty Victoria police officer.
The B.C. Police Complaints Commissioner handed findings of a Vancouver Police investigation into the claims to a retired judge, who found the evidence did not support misconduct.
But the commission says the complainant was not given a chance to testify and asked for a hearing, which is determined to be in the public interest.
Neither the complainant or the officer has been named.
Former B.C. Appeal Court justice Wally Oppal will adjudicate the hearing, with a date still to be determined.
