UPDATE: Saanich police says a person driving a motorcycle has died in a crash with another vehicle on Prospect Lake Road.
Authorities say the BC Coroners Service has been notified.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The crash happened late Monday afternoon in the 4000-block of Prospect Lake Road.
A section of Prospect Lake Road, just south of where Prospect Lake and Munn roads meet, is closed due to the crash.
Police are on scene investigating the collision. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
Police said they will release further details when they come available.
