A cougar was reportedly seen in Saanich this morning.
According to a Saanich Police Department press release, there was a possible cougar sighting in the area around the 4500-block of Chatterton Way, near Royal Oak Avenue.
The BC Conservation Service has been notified. Saanich PD said their officers along with members of the Saanich Pound are out looking for the animal.
