The Port Alberni RCMP are asking the public to keep an eye out for a man wanted on a variety of warrants, including assault.
Mounties are searching for 44-year-old Matthew Koziel, who is “considered dangerous and should not be approached.”
He’s wanted on several warrants, including:
- Assault causing bodily harm
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault
- Uttering threats
- Breach of release order
- Two counts of failing to appear
- Three counts of breach of undertaking
Koziel is described as a white man who stands 5’11” and weighs 161 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who spots Koziel is asked to contact their local police. Otherwise, anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Port Alberni RCMP at 250-723-2424.
None of the charges against Koziel have been proven in court.
