Editor’s note: The following story contains details of a fight that some may find disturbing.
Port Alberni RCMP is investigating after a “disturbing” video of a fight outside a night club was posted to social media.
The video was posted on Facebook early Sunday morning showing the incident outside of the FX Niteclub on Third Avenue.
RCMP tells CHEK News the incident was reported to the police and an investigation is underway.
Officers say the video is disturbing and encourages people to call police immediately in situations like this.
The video shows six men walking towards a seventh man. One of the men then punches the seventh man, who falls to the ground.
He then stands up and falls over backwards again. While he is falling and standing back up, the man who punched him says “don’t f–k with me bro, I’ll f–king kill you. That’s not a threat, that’s a f–king promise.”
One of the other men in the group of six then says “okay, enough, enough…okay, I’ll get him up,” then holds out his hand to help the man stand up.
Before the man on the ground can grab the man’s hand, the man who punched the man grabs his legs and starts dragging him while the man who tried to help him out shouts “no” repeatedly.
Another man then comes forward and kicks the man on the ground in the head and the man who was trying to help him out shouts at the kicker to “get the f–k out of here” and pushes him backwards, away from the man on the ground.
The video then ends as the man who initially punched him yelling at the man to “get out of the road.”
