Richard Zoet of Port Alberni, B.C. is celebrating after winning the Guaranteed $1 Million Prize from the June 7, 2017 Lotto 6/49 draw.
Zoet said he want to get a new sports car with his winnings.
“And it’s going to feel great when I buy my mom a much-needed ride,” Zoet said in a statement.
He added that there has been a lot of talk around town about who won the lottery and he is happy about sharing the news.
“It’s exciting because I’m proof lottery wins happen in B.C., and in Port Alberni no less.”
Zoet purchased his ticket at the A-1 Convenience Store in Port Alberni.
