Police looking to speak to potential witnesses in Langford murder investigation

Police are asking for potential witnesses to come forward to help with the investigation into the murder of Angela Dalman in Langford.

On March 6, shortly after 9:30 p.m, West Shore RCMP were called to a shooting that took place outdoors near the 800-block of Arncote Ave in Langford.

Angela Dalman, 40, was shot and later died from her injuries.

Anthony Dheensaw was identified as the suspect. He has been charged with second-degree murder and is still in custody.

Dheensaw is also facing another charge of attempted murder of Derrick Oke, 41, with a firearm.

The Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU) is still investigating the muder.

Police said they are looking to speak with anyone who may have dashcam footage or residential security footage from Florence Lake Road on the night of Friday, March 6th between 9pm and 10:30 p.m.

Police are also looking to speak with anyone who may have been walking a dog in the area of Florence Lake between and 9 pm and 10:30 p.m on March 6 and anyone who was driving on Arncote Avenue between 9 p.m and 9:45 p.m. on March 6.
