This painting depicting Buddha was stolen from a home in the 600-block of Anderton Road in Comox Oct. 24.
Comox Valley RCMP is asking for help in trying to locate a painting that was taken from a Comox home nearly two weeks ago.
Police say someone entered the carport of a residence in the 600-block of Anderton Road Oct. 24 and stole a canvas depicting Buddha.
“You cannot put a price on something with sentimental value,” Comox Valley RCMP Cst. Monika Terragni said in a statement.
“This painting needs to get back to the owner.”
The Comox Valley RCMP Crime Reduction Unit is investigating the theft and would like to speak with any potential witnesses who may have information.
Anyone who can provide any details of what they saw or have information the crime is asked to call Comox Valley RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
