Police seek suspects who stole bonsai trees

Police are on the hunt for three suspects who allegedly snatched bonsai trees from a garden centre last week.

According to the Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers, a group of individuals walked into a garden centre located in the 4600-block of West Saanich Road and stole a bunch of bonsai trees.

“The trees are valuable and Saanich Police would like to know who our green-fingered suspects are,” Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers said in a post on social media.

The date of the incident was not included in the post, however, Saanich Police told CHEK News the alleged theft took place at around 1 p.m. on March 21.
