A recovered Marin road bike Nanaimo RCMP located in a ditch along the side of Wills Road Friday.
Nanaimo RCMP is looking for the owner of an orange Marin road bike found abandoned on the side of a road.
On Jan. 24, police got a call from someone who watched a suspicious male drop the bike in the ditch along Wills Road in north Nanaimo, then carried on.
Officers arrived and located the bike which was found in excellent condition.
Police checked the serial number and the bike shop which sells the brand was contacted.
RCMP say the bike has not been reported stolen, so far.
Anyone with information on the bike and who may be the owner is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
