A teen that was missing on the North Island has been found safe, according to RCMP.

RCMP are asking the public to keep a lookout for a missing teen from northern Vancouver Island.

Mounties are searching for the 16-year-old who was last seen on Tuesday, Sept. 19, in Port Hardy.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call their local police or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously online or at 1-800-222-8477.
