Police searching for masked suspect in West Shore Tim Hortons break-in

West Shore RCMP are looking for one suspect after a break-in and robbery at the Eagle Creek Village Tim Hortons in View Royal on New Year’s Day.

Police said they reviewed the store’s video surveillance footage, which showed a male suspect breaking into the store on Helmcken road at 12:18 a.m. Approximately $200 in cash and several Tim Hortons brand mugs and coffee products were stolen.

The suspect is wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, grey shoes, orange gloves and a face mask in the footage.

“The suspect was wearing a distinctive mask to hide his identity.  Police have canvassed the area and the investigation remains active to identify the suspect,” Cpl. Chris Dovell of the West Shore RCMP.
