Victoria police say no threat was found from a suspicious package spotted near city hall Tuesday night.
Officers responded after a call of a suspicious package located just before 10 p.m.
A large police presence was in the area and police cordoned off Centennial Square and city hall.
Pandora Street was shut down from Douglas to Government Streets.

The VicPD Explosive Disposal Unit attended and determined the package was not a threat and the area was cleared this morning.
The investigation continues into this incident, along with a previous bomb threat that saw the Victoria courthouse evacuated Tuesday afternoon.
No device was found after Victoria police’s canine unit and explosive disposal unit searched the courthouse.
There are no injuries reported and investigators are asking anyone with information to call Victoria police or Crime Stoppers.
