Police looking for cyclist who was clipped by car in downtown Victoria

Police are looking to speak to a cyclist who was struck by a car in downtown Victoria back in June.

Victoria police said someone contacted them after their dashcam captured a collision between a cyclist and a vehicle. The collision occurred in the 1300-block of Blanshard Street. The timestamp on the video shows it was recorded on June 26 at 1:24 p.m.

VicPD traffic officers have identified and spoken with the driver of the car. Police said they are now hoping to speak with the cyclist to ensure the cyclist was not injured and get more information about what happened.
