Victoria police seized various ammunition and weapons from an abandoned tent in Vic West.
Investigators are trying to figure out how and why a cache of weapons and ammo were left in an unoccupied tent in Vic West last week.
Victoria police were helping bylaw officers at a makeshift encampment in the 100-block of Bay Street Thursday when they heard about weapons left in a tent.
They discovered a pair of replica firearms, a knife and ammo including .308-calibre rounds.
However, the owner of said weapons and ammunition was nowhere to be found. Police are now seeking information on who may have left behind the dangerous items.
