A motorist is fortunate he wasn’t seriously hurt after rolling his truck off the Nanaimo Parkway this morning.
The incident happened just before 9 a.m. this morning in the northbound lanes of the Nanaimo Parkway. The driver, police said, drove his Dodge Ram pickup truck off the right side of the road and went down a steep embankment, where it ended up rolling.
He was able to call 911 and was able to walk away from the crash.
Nanaimo RCMP said he had just finished a long shift at work.
