A person has died after they were struck by a vehicle in Saanich, police say.
A person has died after they were struck by a vehicle in Saanich.
According to the Saanich Police Department, the incident occurred in the 3400-block of Douglas Road, near Uptown, at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday.
As a result of the incident, all northbound lanes of Douglas Street at Saanich Road are closed.
Police say they are investigating the incident and that the closure is expected to be in place for “several” hours.
