A pedestrian was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after he was struck by a semi-truck on the Malahat early Wednesday morning.
According to RCMP, the incident occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway near the Shawnigan Lake Road turnoff at around 6:30 a.m. The pedestrian was a 54-year-old man from Saanich.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
