Issue resolved at Swartz Bay terminal, ticketing returns to normal: BC Ferries

After an earlier outage, power has been restored at the Swartz Bay terminal and payment is returning to normal, according to BC Ferries.

An earlier power surge caused an outage at the terminal, and for the start of the day, BC Ferries was manually processing payment to get passengers onto the sailings.

Shortly before 9 a.m., power was restored to the terminal, and the company says it is once again able to process customers normally.

The company says there may be some delays while all traffic is processed.
