Parksville Fire crews fought a major fire at a property on Island Highway East on Thursday night.
Viewer video sent to CHEK News around 10 p.m. shows a fire burning at the River Green Resort property in Parksville.
A witness says they heard an explosion and that one of the cabins on the property was fully engulfed in flames.
They also report that several vehicles parked in the immediate area appear to have been damaged.

Two witnesses report seeing one person taken away from the scene by ambulance.
