Going against conventional wisdom, an owlet that came down in Saanich has gone back up.
Wild Animal Rescue Centre (ARC) staff and Saanich Police helped return the Great Horned owlet to its nest, after it was found in Cuthbert Holmes Park on Admirals Road recently.
In a tweet, Saanich Police shared pictures of the little owl on its return home and said it had fallen from its nest two days earlier.
