Oak Bay police arrested one suspect but are looking for another after a late-night break and enter at the Oak Bay Lawn Club Monday night.

Officers responded to a call from a resident just after 11 p.m., who reported seeing a person inside the clubhouse using a flashlight at 2190 Harlow Dr.

When police arrived, they found a male and female that matched the description departing the area on foot.

Oak Bay police Dep. Chief Ray Bernoties says the female was arrested and was found in possession of break and enter tools, drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Bernoties says the male suspect got away with some cash and an Ipad and Oak Bay police is seeking a warrant for his arrest.

Authorities are in the process of requesting charges that include break and enter, theft and possession of break-in instruments.

Bernoties says the investigation continues and Oak Bay police are thankful to the citizen who called 911 about the incident.
