One person was sent to hospital after a two-car crash in Saanich that also left an SUV balanced on top of a garden wall Monday.
First responders including Saanich Fire and BC Emergency Health Services were called to the crash, at McKenzie Avenue and Cedar Hill Road near the Fairway Market, around 4:12 p.m.
Firefighters said the call came in as a two-vehicle MVI involving one vehicle on its side.
Photos sent to CHEK News show a white SUV precariously positioned on top of a landscaped retaining wall, having sustained front-end damage in the crash.
Two ambulances were dispatched and one patient was transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
Saanich Fire asked drivers to avoid the area but indicated the scene would be cleaned up relatively quickly.
There’s no word on what may have caused the SUV or other vehicle involved to crash or if any of the people involved are facing charges.
