One person has been arrested after Saanich Police responded to a firearms call on Wednesday afternoon.
Police told CHEK News that officers were called to the Uptown area after witnesses reported seeing an individual with a firearm just before 2:30 p.m.
Officers found a man matching the witness’s description a short distance away on Oak Street and found a replica firearm in his possession.
Police said the man is currently in custody and will be facing charges.
No injuries were reported.
