Saanich police on the scene of a serious incident on Carey Road
One man has been sent to hospital with serious injuries following what Saanich police are calling a serious incident on Saturday.
The 3900 block of Carey Road is still blocked off as a result, and Saanich police are waiting for detectives to arrive on the scene.
They first responded around 3:18 p.m.
Neighbors say they saw first responders performing CPR on a man outside a home on the street.
Another neighbour says someone may have fled down the street following the incident.
Saanich police did have a K9 unit deployed at one point.
The investigation is in its early stages. More details regarding the incident may be released later Saturday.
