One man arrested after Victoria police cruiser rammed by stolen vehicle, one suspect missing

Victoria Police says an officer has non-life threatening injuries after the police cruiser they were in got rammed by the driver of a stolen vehicle Thursday.

Police say shortly after 3 p.m., Integrated Road Safety Unit (IRSU) officers saw a stolen vehicle in the 600-block of Pandora Avenue.

After seeing the police, the driver pulled the vehicle to the side of the road and a passenger ran away.

The stolen vehicle was then driven into a police cruiser, which caused the injured officer who was in the passenger seat to have to exit through the driver’s side.

The passenger of the stolen vehicle running from police was arrested.

The stolen vehicle was later located unoccupied near the 1200-block of Langley Street, but the driver is still outstanding.
