4-time Olympic medalist Penny Oleksiak swam to another 100M Freestyle victory last night at the Canadian Swim Trials at Saanich Commonwealth Place. With the win, the 16-year-old Toronto native earned a trip to the FINA World Championships this summer in Budapest.

Victoria’s Sarah Darcel, a good friend of Penny’s, also raced Friday night looking to advance to the World Championships in the 400M Individual Medley. Darcel finished in third, one spot away from qualifying. After the race, Penny was quick to console her emotional teammate.
