Officers recover $6,000 worth of jewelry in Victoria, man and woman arrested

A man and a woman are in police custody as officers recovered jewelry worth more than $6,000 allegedly stolen from a building on Fisgard Street in Victoria.

VicPD says officers attended the 500-block of Fisgard Sunday morning for the report of an alarm, where they determined a break and enter took place and the jewelry was stolen.

Police were able to determine the suspects were in a suite in the same building.

The two suspects, who are known to police, were located and arrested.

After applying for and being granted a search warrant, police later recovered all the jewelry.
