UPDATE: The mother of missing 11-year old Florence McNab shared news just after 10:30 p.m. that her daughter had been found in Vancouver.

UPDATE: The RCMP said tonight that they have confirmed that missing Florence Dawn McNab has travelled off Vancouver Island to the Lower Mainland. 

The 11-year old arrived at the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal at approximately 5:00 p.m.

It is believed her bank card had last been used at a Nanaimo’s Departure Bay ferry terminal earlier at 2:15 p.m..

Oceanside RCMP continue to ask for the public’s help locating Florence.

She was reported missing from her Qualicum Beach residence on Wednesday afternoon.

Florence is described as:

●       Caucasian
●       5’3”
●       130 lbs
●       Purple/blue shoulder length hair
●       Blue eyes
●       Wears glasses
●       Typically carries a black/grey backpack

Florence’s family are concerned and want her to contact police right away.
