WATCH: Nicholas and Jack Carson helped the Oak Bay Barbarians capture the Quad-A Boys Provincial title this weekend over the powerhouse Shawnigan Lake School team, and as it turns out, the Carsons have been dominating the rugby pitch at Oak Bay High for over four decades.

Nick and Jack’s fathers both played for the Barbs in the late 1970s and helped capture a provincial title back in 1980. Jim and Leonard Carson both went onto post-secondary with rugby and the brother tandem look back on their years at Oak Bay with fond memories. Nick is set to graduate this summer and attend UVic in the fall, while Jack will be headed into his senior year at Oak Bay, looking to continue the Carson family legacy on the high school rugby pitch.
