Fire departments responded to a commercial building fire in Sidney on Galaran Road and were able to contain the fire mostly to the room of origin.
In a tweet, Sidney Fire Department said it responded to the fire with North Saanich Fire, Central Saanich Fire, Sidney/North Saanich RCMP and the BC Emergency Health Services.
There were no injuries in the fire, and the cause is under investigation.
The post says the quick response and aggressive attack was able to keep the fire mostly to the room of origin.
