WATCH: The Rugby Canada women’s sevens squad fought their way to a 3rd place finish at the USA Sevens in Glendale, Colorado on Sunday.
Canada suffered a tough loss to the powerhouse New Zealand side in the cup semi-finals, but cleaned up nicely in their bronze medal match-up against France, defeating the French by a score of 28-0.
Canada will take this bronze medal win as a good stepping stone for their first event of the season, and will look to keep the momentum rolling when they travel to Dubai next month.
