Mounties in Nanaimo are seeking public help in locating a violent offender who is wanted on an unendorsed warrant for breach of release conditions.

Nanaimo RCMP says Jayson Delorme, 41, has a history of failing to attend court and “should be considered violent.” He was recently released from prison with specific conditions related to domestic violence, police say.

“It is alleged that he breached a number of the conditions relating to his release order. Investigators believe that Delorme is travelling between Nanaimo, Port Alberni and the Duncan area,” said RCMP in a news release Wednesday.

They say Delorme, who stands 5’9″ tall and weighs 200 pounds, has short black hair and brown eyes. He has a “Kayden” tattoo on his left wrist, a crown tattoo on his back, and three piercings in his left ear.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
