Nanaimo RCMP is asking for help locating a missing man and missing woman as part of two separate investigations.
On Thursday, Mounties said they were searching for 28-year-old Duggan O’Hara and 30-year-old Alysha-Nicole Dickenson.
Police say O’Hara missed an urgent medical appointment on May 15, leading to significant concerns for his safety and well-being.
He’s believed to be in Nanaimo or on Gabriola Island, but so far police have been unable to locate him.
O’Hara is described as a Caucasian man who stands 6’1” tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes, and the photo provided of him is considered recent.

Meanwhile, police are also searching for a missing woman who was last seen on May 20.
Police say Dickenson made “several troubling comments to her family” before she was last seen, which has them extremely concerned for her well-being.
“Dickenson is of no fixed address and patrols throughout Nanaimo by frontline officers have proved negative,” said RCMP on Thursday.
She is described as a Caucasian woman who stands 5’5” and weighs 150 pounds. She has green eyes and black hair, and the photo of her is considered recent.
