Missing man, 60, found 'safe and sound': Nanaimo RCMP

Nanaimo RCMP says the 60-year-old man reported missing on April 3 has been found. He was located on April 5 and is “safe and sound,” according to Mounties in an update Monday, April 8.

“Nanaimo RCMP would like to thank those that assisted with the investigation,” said RCMP.

Police in Nanaimo are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man.

Mounties are searching for the 60-year-old who was last seen at his home in Nanaimo around 6 p.m. on April 2.

On Thursday, police said his friends and family were “extremely concerned” for his well-being.

He’s described as a Caucasian man who stands 5’11” and weighs approximately 181 pounds. He has short brown hair and brown eyes.

He also drives a grey, 2015 Ford F150 pickup truck.

Anyone who sees him or his truck, or who may have information on his location, is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
