Nanaimo RCMP said they are looking to identify two men who may have information about the violent home invasion that left one senior with injuries.

On Tuesday at around 2:30 a.m., Donnie and Marie Biggs, who are in their 70s, woke up to find three masked intruders in their home on Garner Crescent. Donnie tried to fight one of the intruders before one of them hit him across the head.

Marie was tied up. Bank and credit cards, personal effects and jewelry were stolen from the couple and the suspects drove off in the couple’s 2008 Lexus IS250. It was recovered later that night.

Police have now released surveillance photos of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the home invasion.

If anyone has information on the identity of these individuals, they are asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at www.nanaimocrimestoppers.com or call 1-800-222-8477.
