Multi-sailing wait on major BC Ferries route

Those travelling on BC Ferries on Monday without a reservation should plan extra time to wait, as a major route has a multi-sailing wait.

As of 2 p.m., the next available sailing on the Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay route is the 5:30 p.m. leaving Tsawwassen. Those leaving the Island fare better with the 4 p.m. being the next available sailing.

Anyone sailing from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo has a one sailing wait, with the next available sailing being at 6:35 p.m. leaving Horseshoe Bay, and 5:55 p.m. leaving Nanaimo.

And a similar fate awaits those travelling on the Tsawwassen to Duke Point route. Leaving Tsawwassen, the next available sailing is at 5:45 p.m., and the same time leaving Duke Point.
