Mount Washington Alpine Resort is warning visitors that no Wi-Fi or Telus cell service is available due to a damaged cable.

On Dec. 26, the resort said it had spoken with Telus, which confirmed that a damaged cable was the source of the internet and cell service loss.

The outage is affecting the resort’s own phone services and website, including its weather feeds, live webcams and other online features.

On Tuesday morning, Mt. Washington said that Telus was sending a crew to repair the cable, though there was no timeline available for when the repair would be complete.

“Please be patient as we are currently working to resolve the issue. Thank you,” reads the resort’s morning update Tuesday.
