Oak Bay Police impound motorcycle after its driver was caught going 87 kilometres per hour on Beach Drive Sunday.
Oak Bay police put the brakes on a motorcycle driver going well over the posted speed limit on Beach Drive Sunday.
Officers were set up to monitor speed on Beach Drive when a man, the lone rider on the bike, was clocked at 87 kilometres per hour.
The posted speed limit in the zone is 40 km/h.
The driver was given a ticket for excessive speed and his motorcycle was seized at the scene.
