More rain and windy conditions in store for Monday across Island

A system that has reached B.C.’s South Coast will cause the wind and the rain to pick-up across the region.

A wind warning has been posted for northern Vancouver Island. On Monday, strong southeast winds with gusts up to 70 km/h are possible across the North Island.

However, temperatures will remain mild around the six or seven-degree mark.
