Police say the body of a missing Nanaimo man was found Wednesday afternoon and foul play is not suspected.
Lionel Cayer, 65, was reported missing from Nanaimo on April 22. At around 2:30 p.m. on April 25, his truck was found parked at Westwood Lake.
Nanaimo search and rescue crews and RCMP then searched the surrounding area. At around 5 p.m., Cayer’s body was found in a woody area, not far from where his vehicle was parked.
Police will not be releasing any more information. The BC Coroners Service is investigating.
