Victoria police say a man reported missing from Port Alberni is believed to be in Victoria.

Officers are asking for public assistance in locating 55 year-old Wayne Edward David. David is described as standing five feet, eight inches tall, weighing 150 lbs.

David was reported missing on August 9th, 2019. During a phone call with family on August 16th, 2019, he stated he would be in Victoria. His family is concerned for his well-being.

Police say that any sighting of Wayne should be reported to 9-1-1.
