Waking up on Tuesday morning, people may have had issues checking some popular social media platforms.
Facebook, Instagram and Threads were each experiencing issues, which a Meta spokesperson said the company was aware of.
“We’re aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now,” Andy Stone says on Twitter.
About an hour-and-a-half later, Stone updated that the issue was resolved.
“Earlier today, a technical issue caused people to have difficulty accessing some of our services,” Stone said in a follow up post on Twitter. “We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone who was impacted, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
Down Detector says the issues were first reported around 7:12 a.m., and continued through 8 a.m.
