McKenzie Avenue will be closed between Highway 1 and Burnside Road West Monday night.
McKenzie Avenue between Burnside Road West and Highway 1 will be closed Monday night as crews pour a new concrete deck for the Galloping Goose Trail bridge.
According to the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, the road will be closed to drivers, pedestrians and cyclists from 11 p.m. Monday night to 5:30 a.m. on Aug. 1.
Traffic on McKenzie Avenue heading toward Highway 1 will be able to turn onto Burnside Road. Traffic going toward McKenzie Avenue from Admirals will be directed onto Highway 1. Drivers along Highway 1 will be able to exit at Helmcken, Interurban or Tillicum roads instead of McKenzie Avenue.
The Galloping Goose Trail bridge is part of the McKenzie Interchange Project.
