Man with warrant from Kelowna believed to be in Nanaimo

Darius Konefall-Townsend is believed to be living and working in Nanaimo.

RCMP says a 27-year-old man wanted in relation to an incident in Kelowna is believed to be living and working in Nanaimo.

Darius Konefall-Townsend is wanted for assault and mischief related to a 2023 incident in Kelowna in which he is accused of assaulting a woman by punching her in the face then slamming her head into the frame of a vehicle.

Police believe that Konefall-Townsend may be living and working in Nanaimo.

He is described as a caucasian man, 5’11” tall, 150 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is associated with a white pickup truck with B.C. plates of VL1967. The truck has ladders attached to the roof.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
