West Shore RCMP says a man wanted on 10 warrants is believed to be evading police and are asking the public to keep an eye out for him.

Nicholas Banks has 10 outstanding warrants, eight unendorsed and two endorsed. Endorsed warrants are warrants that have been signed by a Justice of the Peace, while an unendorsed warrant has not which indicates an arrested person must be held for court.

Banks’ endorsed warrants are for assault with a weapon and breach of a release order. His unendorsed warrants are for two counts of theft over $5,000, two counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000, two counts of breach of a release order, flight from police, and assault of a police officer.

He is described as 41 years old, 6’4″ and 229 pounds, bald with hazel eyes.

Banks is considered dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone who sees him should contact your local police. If you have information on his whereabouts, you are asked to call the West Shore RCMP by calling 250-474-2264.
