West Shore RCMP say an arrest warrant has been issued for Christopher Lamoureux, 40.

Police say an arrest warrant has been issued for a 40-year-old New Westminister man wanted in connection with a Langford bank robbery.

Christopher Lee Lamoureux has been charged with one count of robbery following a bank robbery at the RBC branch in the West Shore Town Centre on Jacklin Road. Police said at 2:10 p.m. on Sept. 23, Lamoureux allegedly showed a robbery note and then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A warrant for Lamoureux’s arrest was issued in Western Communities Provincial Court on Sept. 27.

Lamoureux is described as 5’11, 180 pounds with brown/grey hair and brown eyes.

“The West Shore RCMP Major Crime Unit are leading the investigation into the robbery at the West Shore Town Centre RBC branch.  Investigators have evidence identifying Christopher Lamoureux and recovered his vehicle a black 2006 Chevrolet Optra. Anyone with dash camera footage in the area of the RBC near the time of the robbery are asked to contact the police,” Sgt. Chris Boucher of the West Shore RCMP Major Crime Unit said in a statement.
